There's no shortage of information out there for new moms, but how do you separate the facts from the hype? I had the sincere pleasure of chatting with The Science of Mom author and Ph.D. Alice Callahan, and she had some fascinating things to say about babies, sleep, and the role that melatonin and cortisol play in establishing their sleep patterns.

For those of you who are already familiar with Alice, you're obviously going to love this episode, and for those of you who don't know her yet, you're about to be pleasantly surprised. You can check out her blog or buy her book for more research-based information about your baby's first year.
